The Most 2.0

Inspired by the Word Cloud of the BPP Blog generated using Wordle, I bring you The Most 2.0. This used to be one of my favorite features on the BPP, so I figured why not take a stab at it myself. Stay tuned for the debut of my very own "The Most."

Nostalgia 2.0

The farewell show...for old times sake. Call it Nostalgia 2.0

This makes me want to call up Margaret Low Smith and ask her what we need to do to get this show back! Can we have a special fundraising campaign to revive citizen journalism again? I want to get jazzed about the news again. :-(

Post your thoughts here - let's get the grassroots movement going again.

Now More Than Ever...We Need the BPP!

I am cranky in the morning and I can't figure out why. I have my coffee, albeit I have moved to McDonalds from Starbucks.I am managing my public transportation daily commute...I have my iPod on my hip, my Bose IE headphones in. What is missing? My podcast of the Bryant Park Project is missing. Where has it gone? Well, it was unplugged back in July 2008 by NPR management. Ever since then, I have nothing interesting to say around the water cooler.

Tonight, as I tuned in to watch Rachel Maddow's show, I saw a familiar face and heard a very familiar voice - Allison Stewart, we miss you. Please come back.

Call up Mike Pesca. Let's organize a special fundraising drive and bring back the BPP! We need you now more than ever. I mean the news is making it so easy for your story selection, you guys will have tons of fodder. Starbucks profit down 97 percent, Auto execs flying private planes to Washington to plead to Congress for money - these shows are writing themselves.
